T&Cs for A. Miles Tree Services
In accepting our quote, the client/contractor accepts the following:
The quotation is valid for 60 days from its date (unless agreed otherwise). It is based on the site conditions observed on the day of inspection. It is the responsibility of the client to inform us of any changes before work is scheduled.
All work is carried out and performed to British Standards 3998 2010 ‘Tree work recommendations’ & all cuts will be made to the nearest possible pruning (growth) points, unless stated otherwise.
All trees are inspected using visual assessment methods and from ground level. All work description dimensions are estimates/approximates.
It is the responsibility of the client/contactor to notify the neighbour/any third parties of work to their trees or if it is affecting the property. Any access should also be organised and arranged before the date of scheduled work.
All arisings included branches, logwood and foliage will be removed from site and taken away for recycling and/or firewood. The ‘clear up’ will be carried out to a high standard however will not be as it was prior to the start of works.
Stump grinding will include the removal of the stump and buttress roots to a depth of 10”/25cm below the adjacent ground level (it will not include any lateral roots unless otherwise stated). It is necessary that the client notifies us of any underground or hidden services prior to the start of work- we take no responsibility or liability if this is not the case. Stump grindings will be left on site to fill the void of the ground stump.
Recommendations have been made for tree work in line with sound arboricultural management and is recommended that the works undertaken within the suggested timescale. Tree work may be limited or restricted by Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs), Conservation Areas and any ecological/wildlife legislation.
We are fully insured with Public Liability Insurance of up to £5,000,000.
